The Gigaset N300 IP is the easy-to-configure hybrid DECT IP base station that lets users enjoy calling over both a landline and the internet. Multi-line support allows registration of up to 6 different compatible Gigaset handsets to the base station (sold separately) and up to 4 parallel calls (1 landline + 3 VoIP) can be made at once. All VoIP calls are in HD sound thanks to exceptional HDSP technology. Energy-saving ECO DECT means that the Gigaset N300 IP DECT Base Station is eco-conscious as well as hi-tech.

ECO DECT, How much energy does it save?

ECO DECT-based Gigaset phones can cut power consumption by 60% compared to conventional Gigaset handsets. Assuming that a phone is used for an average of 2 hours a day, the switched-mode power supply can cut power consumption by roughly 2 watts (from 3.5 to 1.3 watts). Moreover, fewer raw materials like copper and iron are needed to manufacture a switched-mode power supply than a power supply for a linear handset.

This Gigaset N300 IP DECT Base Station does not include a built-in an answering machine. Please see the the Gigaset N300AIP DECT base station (Accessories Tab) - this model is the same as the Gigaset N300 IP but has an in built answering machine with up to 30 minutes of recording time.
